Route Summary
A second walk through the Fleet National
Scenic Area. This route starts in the
picturesque Skyreburn Glen from where
we follow the old track across upland
farmland to Anwoth Old Churchyard. From
here we climb to Rutherford's Monument
and the hill fort of Trusty's Hill overlooking
the town of Gatehouse of Fleet. Enjoy
beautiful views and a walk full of historical
interest in the company of a local historian.

underfoot in Galloway's wildest locations. Distances
are usually at least 16km (10 miles) and there
is usually up to 1000m of ascent.

10km (7 miles) to 15km (9 miles) with between
500 and 700m of ascent. Suitable only for those
with a good level of fitness.
