TODDLER WALK AND POND DIPPING

Kirroughtree Visitor Centre is an ideal haven for the whole family. The facilities, in particular the play area, are undoubtedly amongst the best in the area. Our Toddler walk is intended as an introduction to the Galloway Forest Park with the opportunity to see wildlife including red squirrels and a variety of birds. The video link to a red squirrel nest will no doubt be particularly popular.

Join the Galloway Forest Park Ranger for a short walk and learn about the wildlife that lives in the forest. Explore habitats along the way in search of Minibeasts and spend time at our Kirroughtree Visitor Centre pond, equipped with a net, to find out what creatures lurk at the bottom!

This walk is intended for families with children aged up to 5 years of age.

There are no limits to the number of walkers on this walk but all children must be accompanied by an adult.
